Geraldine Mary D’souza (1945-2021)

“The Lord is my shepherd, and I want to follow,

wherever he leads me, wherever he goes”.

 

It is with shattered hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Geraldine (Dean) D’souza née Ahluwalia in Sydney, Australia recently. Dean is survived by her daughters Lila D’souza and Francesca D’souza, and her grand-children Nayla, Gabriel, Jacob, Sophie and Lucy. 

Dean was the daughter of  the late Carmen and Ganda Ram Ahluwalia and the sister of Sally Mascarenhas, the late Sandy Ahluwalia, Gerald Ahluwalia (late Beryl), Geoff Ahluwalia (married to Ellen), Peter Ahluwalia, Jackie Joanes (married to Jacob), the late Agnes Ahluwalia, and Teresa Mussard, and the ex-wife of Vincent D’souza.  Dean was also the beloved sister-in-law of Sushil D’Souza (Mike Wood), Shirley (Brij Bowry) and the late Sebastian De Souza  (Sharon). 

Dean will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews Carl, Rachel (married to Marc), Kristian (married to Rebecca), Gillian (married to Bill), Camilla (married to Carlo), Nina (married to Pete), Natalie, Zoe, Tina, David (Selvi), Anna (married to Martin), and the extended family.

Her family are thankful to have loved Dean and been loved by her for so many happy years.
