For a little smile, a little laugh or even a whatever!

World Happiness Day

Today I donated my watch, phone and $500 to a poor guy. You don’t know the happiness I felt as I saw him put his knife back in his pocket.

….

I miss working at the zoo. My boss fired me because I left the lion’s cage door open. I mean who would want to steal a lion.

I was in a cab today and the driver said: I love my job, I am my own boss. Nobody tells me what to do.” Then I said, “Turn left.”

….

Why do some pharmacies (in the US + Canada?) make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get to the pharmacy for prescriptions while healthy people (?) can buy cigarettes at the front?

….

Why do some people order a double cheeseburger, large fries and get a diet Coke?

Why do banks leave the vault doors open but chain pens on the counters?

….

Why do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in our driveways and put our junk in the garage?

Why does the sun lighten our hair but darkens our skin?

Why can’t women put on mascara with their mouths closed? Really?

Why do doctors and lawyers call what they do “practice”?

Why didn’t Noah swat those two mosquitoes?

Why do they sterilize needles for lethal injections?

You know that indestructible black box that is used in aeroplanes? Why don’t they make the whole plane out of the same stuff, indestructible?

Why don’t sheep shrink in the rain?

Why are they called apart-ments when they are all together?

If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport terminal>

Now that I hope you have smiled at least once (even smirked a little), it’s your turn to spread this silliness … hopefully they will smile a little, even chuckle a little or a lot!!!

A day without laughter can never be a gem.

(Thanks WL, with apologies to the original writer)
